Dim Dim is Easy. It is “open” and it is Free. Easy, is self explanatory, sort of. It’s easy for me to use, but my Mother would likely call me for help. It is easy enough that after a coaching session, Mom would get it. So, I think it can be said to be “easy”. It is open and in open source. A qualified web-geek can get the source code and host an instance of Dimdim. This makes it so that corporations can use it in-house on their own servers. Free users can host meetings with almost all of the available functionality. Meetings are limited to 20 participants with a free account. Free accounts support one way video and voice.
There are paid memberships as well. Dimdim Pro allows you to add custom branding to your meeting room and guarantees uptime. Your meeting room can host up to 100 participants with a Pro membership. Pro memberships are a whopping huge $99.00 per year. The final option for the big players is an Enterprise membership. Enterprise allows simultaneous meetings in different rooms and up to 1000 members. The enterprise membership is huge… $1000.00 per year. Even the smallest of serious internet marketers can afford to use Dimdim. Both the Pro and Enterprise accounts allow two way video and voice sharing.
