Website Development Process

In order to ensure that we meet your specific requirements, we follow a set process and keep you informed as we proceed with your project. Not only do we keep you informed, but we need your input and participation in the development of your web site...without your participation we would surely fail.

The following brief outline will introduce you to the process that we follow during the development of a marketing web site. This process is altered when we manage a larger web-based application.

Step 1 Consultative Process & Site Planning

During step 1 your eKzact Internet Consultant will help you plan your web site including the number of pages, forms, content type and navigation. We use an extensive account setup survey to accomplish this with your direct participation.

Step 2 Site Design Concept

The designer assigned to your project will produce a full size design concept for your web site and prepare it online for presentation to you.

Step 2.1 Client Review of Site Concept

The new draft design concept will be presented to you by your eKzact Account Manager. You are given the opportunity to provide comments and to request revisions.

Step 3 Compile Site Content

While your assigned designer is preparing artwork and concepts for your new web site, your eKzact Account Manager will be leading you through the development of content for your web site. Without the words for each page your web site can not go live. Nobody knows your business better than you do, so you plan a critical role in providing eKzact with content.

Step 4 Create HTML Templates Based on Concept

Once your design concept is approved by you, we proceed to create a fully functional web site. If you have prepared the content while we were working on Steps 1 through 2.1, your web site will come together quite quickly at this point.

Step 5 Populate Templates with Client Content

Once the content that you have prepared for your new web site is received by your Account Manager it will be reviewed and prepared for the designer. The eKzact Designer will then put your content into your already prepared web site.

Step 5.1 Client Review of Site with Content

You will be notified to review your web site at a temporary web address. Your comments for revisions will be solicited by your Account Manager.

Step 5.2 Revisions to Site Content if Required

Any required revisions will be completed during this step.

Step 6 Launch Web Site (Go Live)

Once step 5.1 is completed your eKzact Account Manager will review the final web site one last time. If there are any concerns they will be addressed with you before your web site goes live. At this point, your web site will be set "Live" on the internet. You will receive notification that your site is live.

Step 7 META tags, title optimization, descriptions

Shortly after your web site is live, your Account Manager will follow up with you to review meta keywords, descriptions, title & basic page optimization techniques. You account manager will discuss other 'search engine' optimization techniques that may be employed to help get your new web site ranked on search engines. We will also talk to you about different techniques to achieve traffic to your new site. Please note that full site optimization and marketing is a big project and additional fees are charged to manage website optimization and search engine listings.
